Summary templates

A summary shaped around your work

After a call, a sales rep needs something different from a recruiter, a board or a team planning a sprint. Pick a template and see what the summary will look like.

For teams and managers

General Meeting

A tidy shape for any meeting: why you met, what you discussed, what you decided and what is still open.

  • Decisions with their reasons, so a month later you still know why
  • Open questions and risks gathered in one place
  • A good choice when no more specific template fits

Summary sections

  1. 1Meeting Purpose & Context
  2. 2Discussion Topics
  3. 3Decisions & Rationale
  4. 4Open Questions, Risks & Follow-ups

For product and engineering teams

Sprint Planning

The sprint goal, scope and risks written down the way an agile team works, with no copying the board after the meeting.

  • The sprint goal in one sentence
  • The backlog the team committed to, with its dependencies
  • Risks and who is available, noted on the spot

Summary sections

  1. 1Sprint Goal
  2. 2Committed Sprint Backlog
  3. 3Plan, Strategy & Dependencies
  4. 4Risks, Assumptions & Capacity
  5. 5Open Decisions & Follow-ups

BANT

A sales call laid out as budget, authority, need and timeline. You see at a glance whether the deal is ready for a proposal and what is still missing.

  • The four pillars of qualification, always in the same order
  • Qualification gaps and a plan to close them
  • The next step in the deal, written down right away

Summary sections

  1. 1Budget
  2. 2Authority
  3. 3Need
  4. 4Timeline
  5. 5Qualification Gaps & Validation Plan

Board Meeting

Minutes you can read in two minutes: decisions, the key numbers, risks and who owns what before the next meeting.

  • Decisions and motions kept apart from the discussion
  • The key financial and operational figures in one place
  • Commitments with dates for the next meeting

Summary sections

  1. 1Executive Summary
  2. 2Decisions & Motions
  3. 3Financial & Operational Highlights
  4. 4Strategic Discussion & Risks

For consultants and advisers

Client Interview

A client conversation turned into working material: a synthesis, the problems, the numbers and the hypotheses to test, before you start writing recommendations.

  • The synthesis first, the detail below

  1. 1Central Thesis & Learning Objectives

Frequently asked questions

How soon do I get the summary?

Usually moments after the recording ends. Longer meetings take a little more time, but you don’t have to wait in the app.

Which summary templates are there?

More than 50 ready-made templates in 16 categories, including a general meeting, sprint planning, stand-up, board meeting, BANT, MEDDIC, job interview, client interview and lecture. Each lays the summary out in sections that fit the kind of conversation.

Can I change how the summary looks?

Yes. Set one of the ready-made templates as the default for new notes or rewrite a summary with another template. You can also create your own template, from scratch or based on a ready-made one. Templates come with the Lite, Pro and Max plans.

What language will the summary be in?

The language you use Notiqer in, whatever the language of the conversation. A meeting held in Polish can be read in English.

Can I summarise a Google Meet, Teams or Zoom call?

Yes. On a computer, Notiqer records the system audio, so you can summarise a meeting in Google Meet, Teams, Zoom or Webex with no bot on the participant list. Record an in-person meeting on your phone.

How do I share a summary with my team?

Create a link to the note. Anyone with it can read it without an account, and no one can change it through the link. You can set how long the link works and turn it off at any time.

Can I download the summary?

Yes. Download the note with its summary as a PDF, and on paid plans also as Word, Markdown or text. You can print it right away too.

Who can see my meetings?

Only you. Someone else sees a note only when you send them a link to it.

Can I edit the summary?

Yes. Edit the summary’s text right in the note; the template and the tasks found stay as they are.

Does a summary use minutes?

No. Turning the recording into text uses minutes. The summary itself, even one rewritten with another template, does not.
